Whānau Unite for Mangatawa Marae Working Bee
The spirit of kotahitanga (unity) was alive and well at Mangatawa Marae as whānau came together for a successful Working Bee. Over the course of the day, our people rolled up their sleeves to repair fences, replace panels, and tidy up driveways and footpaths—all to ensure our Marae remains a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
This mahi was not just about maintenance; it was about reconnecting, strengthening our bonds, and giving back to a place that holds so much history and significance for our whānau. From the young to the old, everyone played a part, and the results speak for themselves.
A huge mihi to all who contributed their time, energy, and skills to this kaupapa. We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the organisers who put in the hard work behind the scenes to make this day possible. Your dedication and leadership ensured that everything ran smoothly, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
Ka mau te wehi, e te whānau! Keep an eye out for our next Working Bee—we’d love to see even more hands on deck.
